This session will be a light-hearted introduction to “Mathematical Modelling” - the process of converting real-world problems to Mathematics and solving them.
Mathematical Modelling is the focus of our unique “Engineering Mathematics” degree here at the University of Bristol – see www.enm.bris.ac.uk. It is a very useful skill in industry and what's more, it's a fun way of applying your Mathematical knowledge and skills.
